Diablo Country Club Foundation Supports Operation School BellĀ®

Recently, Diablo Country Club Foundation presented $15,000 designated for Operation School Bell.

Assistance League is proud to partner and build relationships with local community businesses. This year, Assistance League teamed with 56 volunteer employees from Administaff, Chevron, Wells Fargo,  Macerich, Shell Oil, Office Max and Target. These enthusiastic employees volunteered 147 hours towards outfitting elementary school children with new clothes, shoes, backpacks and grooming kits through Operation School Bell ® and assembled Welcome Home Layettes for newborns, considered at risk for developmental problems.

In addition to the revenue from Assistance League of Diablo Valley's Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, additional financial support for the chapter's philanthropic programs comes from corporations, individuals, businesses and service organizations.

The chapter is indebted to its community partners of Contra Costa County, CA who share belief in the chapter's mission and support the chapter members to implement philanthropic efforts.

This year Assistance League has been the recipient of grants from:

  • Chevron
  • East Bay Community Foundation - Joseph & Bernice Robuk Fund
  • PMI
  • Rotary Club of Rossmoor
  • Rotary Club of San Ramon
  • Rotary of Walnut Creek
  • Target
  • The J.M. Long Foundation
