Community Volunteers Participating at Assistance League
Assistance League of Diablo Valley and 13 groups of corporate and local government volunteers have enjoyed a special working relationship as they come together to staff one of our Operation School Bell® clothing days. Operation School Bell is the national program of Assistance League where children in need are given new school clothing to improve their attendance, self image and readiness to learn. This year, Assistance League of Diablo Valley will celebrate providing clothing to 25,000 children in Contra Costa County since 1994.
